Copyright policy

Hanime respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. We do not produce, upload, host or store any of the videos listed on this site. All videos are embedded from, or linked to, third-party services and are provided by unrelated third parties.

If you believe that material available through this site infringes your copyright, you may send us a notice of claimed infringement. We will review it and, where the claim is valid, remove or disable access to the identified material.

How to file a notice

Send your notice to [email protected]. To be actionable, it must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If a single notice covers multiple works, provide a representative list.
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — the full URL of the page on this site and, where known, the URL of the source file.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Notices that omit any of these elements may be returned for completion. Incomplete notices will not delay our response to complete ones.

Response times

We aim to acknowledge complete notices within 2 business days, and to remove or disable access to material that is clearly infringing within 5 business days. We may contact you if we need clarification, and we may notify the uploader or the third-party service hosting the file.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] containing your contact details, identification of the removed material and its location before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of a court in the place where you are located. We may restore the material if the original complainant does not file a court action within the time allowed by applicable law.

Repeat infringers

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We may also block access to specific third-party sources that repeatedly generate valid notices.

Good faith

Please do not send notices for material you do not own or are not authorised to act on behalf of. Knowingly filing a materially false notice may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and legal fees.
